Vision

The Caribbean Alliance for Islamic Finance (CAIF) is an initiative to promote the development of Halal and Islamic finance in the Caribbean. CAIF is established with the aim of fostering the growth of Islamic finance and providing a platform that connects the Halal and Islamic finance enthusiasts in the Caribbean region. CAIF is committed to providing capacity building and training, as well as develop innovative products and services to meet the needs of the region. 

CAIF aims to create an enabling environment for the development and progress of Halal and Islamic finance in the region, and to promote financial inclusion. CAIF is also committed to facilitating the exchange of information and experiences among stakeholders in the Caribbean by organizing trainings, workshops or conferences to promote potential growth and opportunities.

 The Caribbean Alliance for Islamic Finance (CAIF) promotes Halal and Islamic finance as a tool for ethical, inclusive, and sustainable economic growth in the Caribbean. We work with financial institutions, educators, and regulators to raise awareness, build capacity, and foster innovation in halal and Shariah-compliant finance.

Our goals are to:

• Develop innovative products and services
• Strengthen institutional capacity and research
• Advocate for supportive policies and regulation
• Promote collaboration among stakeholders
• Establish the Caribbean as a viable hub for Halal and Islamic finance
